Since my last post (including my last post where i already had made the boob and christening cake). I have made:
(Nov 23rd)Boob Cake - Flavour – Chocolate Peanut butter, with chocolate peanut butter; butter cream icing, and crumbled peanut butter cups
(Nov 24th)Christening Cake - ½ chocolate ½ Vanilla – with plain vanilla butter cream icing.
(Nov 28th)Retirement Golf Cake – ½ Vanilla cake with Skor pieces and vanilla butter cream icing, ½ peanut butter chocolate cake, with chocolate peanut butter butter cream icing and crumbled peanut butter cups and reese peanut butter chippits.
(Dec 15th)Transformer Cupcakes - Vanilla Bean Cake – plain vanilla butter cream icing with Fondant Decals
(Dec 18th)Santa Stuck in Igloo Cake - Chocolate Fudge Cake, Chocolate butter cream, and Belgian Milk chocolate shavings
I have recently changed my vanilla cake recipe to be the vanilla bean cake. Thus far, great reviews, but I just want to remind everyone that vanilla is a very mild flavour, and pairs great with a stronger flavoured icing/mousse, or if you enjoy the mild flavouring just vanilla butter cream icing.
Hoping for some more orders over the holidays and into the new year.
This weekend I will be starting my Christmas baking!
Time to pull out the Apple, Pumpkin and Sugar Pie recipes.
Have a great holiday season, and Ill try and post again soon!
Merry Christmas/Happy Hoho. Happy New Years
